About the Spaceship Earth
The Spaceship Earth Podcast was started by Dan Burgess in 2018 after 2 decades working and experimenting with courageous brands, NGO’s, activists, campaigners, artists, creatives, scientists, ecologists, nature guides, wisdom teachers and place based communities.
Exploring the increasing tensions, challenges and possibilities facing a globalised civilisation designed and built on an illusionary story of separation - from ourselves, from each other and from nature, our more than human family.
The podcast exists to have deeper conversations with humans involved in regeneration and bringing life back, raising awareness, shifting consciousness and re-imagining how we might live more beautifully and peacefully through radical connection, creativity, care, imagination, community, solidarity and kinship with all life.
It’s a space for honest & vulnerable conversations, about living through the uncertainty of climate and ecological breakdown, massive inequalities and social injustices whilst exploring stories of ‘becoming crew’, actively participating and co-creating new ways of being and practicing that are Earth-centric, life-giving, growing life-sustaining communities and cultures.
We are guided by new and ancient stories that all life is relational, interconnected and interdependent, trusting in relationships, emergence, not knowing, mystery, humility, generosity, love, co-operation, experimentation and participation.
We guide action learning courses, events and experiences On-land and On-line which deepen our connection and entanglement with ourselves, each other and the living world through becoming crew.
Dan offers advisory, communication, guiding and facilitation services to organisations and projects committed to growing regenerative futures.
